We have a vested partnership with this client which is evident in our continually growing portfolio of locations. Starting originally with three in 2011, expanding to 54 to date.
The overall success of the partnership is built on a solid foundation of understanding what is needed in these environments. Our role in creating a healthy, happy life for the residents is not just centred on catering but the full experience. Our client wants to provide a 6-star service at every development and we work with them to create this each and every day. We create a home-from-home dining atmosphere for our residents by creating bespoke menus through our on-site Chefs; our Chef Managers to go out into the restaurant daily and talk to the residents to find out what they like. Each location is different so we offer a different service model to each development depending on the needs and wishes of the home owners.
The residents love the monthly Chef’s Special Theme Day because they are able to try new dishes, the visits from our Nutritionist to discuss their dietary requirements, and the Essentials List to order from which means they can order the basics (bread, milk, eggs) from our kitchen should they not want to go to the shops. This proved a vital service when we experienced the exceptionally snowy days and people were avoiding going outside where possible.
But the thing they love the most is our PenPal Postcard initiative, where we connect them to our primary school students.
