In 2014, our client needed a contract catering company who understood the needs of both the students and the staff for both its campuses. They wanted flexibility of services and exciting, high-quality food to attract diners.
Both campuses had previously experienced issues with the consistency and quality of service so it was essentially for us to address this and build a close working relationship with this client taking the time to really understand their needs and show how we would be different in our approach.
We modernised and revamped everything related to the food offer; introducing new equipment to support the new innovations and concepts including a Mediterranean salad bar, breakfast stations, ‘Good Mood’ food, low calorie choices, and the Costa high street retail offer.
We made sure the pace of change was rapid and that catering quickly added value to the overall quality of the campuses. Through this we built trust and a strong relationship, delivering what we said we would in every area.
As a result, we have seen a 15% uplift in sales and a significant improvement in the customer survey results.
We have supported the college with its own prestigious events, and hosting BBC’s MasterChef, which has helped raise the profile of the college.
